Quality control of mechanical manufacture processing is the key procedure to ensure the fabricated component/equipment meets the requirement of design.
1. Quality Control of Pre-manufacture
Check and inspect the raw materials before fabrication, ensuring the quality and parameter meet the design requirement. Mainly includes the following:
1.1 Quality inspection of raw material:
- Inspect the chemical composition of raw material, physical properties and appearance quality, such as hardness, density, strength of material.
1.2 Preparation before cutting
- Before cutting, sawed-off procedures of raw materials, ensure the quality of cutting and the flatness of cutting surface, which can prevent to affect the fabrication quality of subsequent procedures.
2. Quality Control During Fabrication
During the fabrication process, it must inspect and commissioning the fabricating machine, ensuring the stable and precision during the fabrication. It mainly includes:
2.1 Commissioning of fabrication equipment;
- Commissioning of machine tool and cutting equipment; ensure the stable operation and precision.
2.2 Quality Inspection and Measurement
- Adopt various measurement tools and equipment to check whether the fabrication quality is meet the design requirement, such as calipers, micrometer, vernier caliper, etc.
3. Quality Control of Further Fabrication
After machining fabrication finished, the surface quality, dimension precision and assembly performance also need to be inspected and further fabricated ensuring the quality of finished product. It mainly includes the following:
3.1 Surface treatment
- Grinding, polishing, painting on the surface of fabricated components to improve the surface quality.
3.2 Dimension inspection
- Adopt measurement tools to fully inspect and measure the fabricated components, ensuring it meets the design requirement.
3.3Assembly performance
- Including the packing precision, sealing inspection to ensure the application effect and reliability of finished products.
